ITA Airways Appoints Five New Board of Directors

The Ordinary Shareholders' Meeting of Italia Trasporto Aereo S.p.A. ("ITA Airways") was held today, appointing the new Board of Directors of the Company, consisting of five members: Antonella Ballone, Joerg Eberhart, Lorenza Maggio, Sandro Pappalardo, and Efrem Angelo Valeriani, and the new Board of Statutory Auditors, in the persons of Paolo Ciabattoni, Angela Florio e Federico Testa.

The Assembly indicated Sandro Pappalardo as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Joerg Eberhart as CEO of ITA Airways; Angela Florio has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Auditors. "I am proud and honored to have been appointed to this prestigious assignment" said Joerg Eberhart, CEO of ITA Airways.

"After more than two years of hard work, this new phase in the Company's history will allow us to strengthen our position and develop strategic synergies that will enhance the growth and solidity of ITA Airways as a leading Italian carrier, ready to ensure greater connectivity for the country and a wider choice of destinations for passengers, with a renewed vision of development, innovation, and sustainability".

The Shareholders’meeting thanked outgoing Chairman Antonino Turicchi, along with all outgoing members of the Board of Directors and the Board of Statutory Auditors, for their work during their term of office.
