Ibom Air will resume flight operations to the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu effective Sunday, May 4, 2025. The resumption follows the reopening of the airport after emergency runway repairs.

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria had issued an official NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) on April 28, 2025 (Ref: A0126/25 NOTAMC A0125/25), confirming that Runway 08/26 at Enugu Airport has resumed normal operations.

It will be recalled that on April 18th, 2025, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) announced that, due to a sudden and significant rupture in the asphalt surface at a critical section of the runway, the runway would be shut down for emergency repairs.

While remaining fully committed to providing safe, reliable, and on-time services, Ibom Air says it appreciates the patience and understanding of its esteemed passengers during the temporary disruption.

For further information or assistance, passengers are advised to call the airline’s Customer Contact Center: Email: Reservations@ibomair.com. Phone: +234 (0) 700 123 594 266 (available daily from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM WAT)
