To offer travellers and agents more booking options, Nigeria's Ibom Air has become APG Network's newest interline partner and a valued addition to the APG Airlines APG IET ticketing portfolio.

Following the development, Ibom Air's (Q1) flights are now available to book on all the major GDSS under A1 flight numbers and for ticketing on APG's certified secure GP-275 ticket stock.

APG IET offers travel agents the facility to issue a much wider range of airlines and flight combinations than would otherwise be available via GDS.

With 137 partners available to issue on GP-275, the APG IET platform offers even more options for ticketing needs. With APG IET, travel agents can issue thousands of different flights worldwide on the airline code, GP.

APG IET also allows travel agents to ticket a wide range of airlines not present on their local BSP and flight combinations with airlines where no interline agreements exists.

Wholly owned by the Akwa Ibom State Government of Nigeria, Ibom Air currently has 7 Aircraft, including 5 CRJ-900s and 2 Airbus A220-300s. It flies to 7 domestic and regional destinations, including Accra in Ghana. The airline has a firm order for 10 Airbus A220s with the first delivery set for November 2023.
