In a bid to expand its network and market share, Nigeria’s Ibom Air will launch new services between Lagos and Enugu as well as between Abuja and Enugu starting from 14 September, 2020.
The new routes will be operated daily using the airline’s young fleet of Bombardier CRJ-900 aircraft.
The new routes will benefit from the airline’s trademark schedule reliability, on-time departures, onboard comfort, and superior customer service.
Ibom Air had on 20 July, 2020, commenced new daily connections between Lagos and Calabar and between Abuja and Calabar, the capital of Cross River State.
It will be recalled that the Akanu Ibiam International Airport Enugu was reopened on 31 August, 2020 after being closed for more than 12 months for runway upgrade.
Launched in June 2019, Ibom Air is the newest Nigerian airline and has rapidly gained prominence among passengers. It currently flies to four domestic destinations including Lagos, Abuja, Uyo, and Calabar.
The rapidly growing airline recently took delivery of its fifth aircraft, a Bombardier CRJ-900 aircraft. The airline plans to launch regional services to West African destinations soon.
