Flight Disruptions: Kenya Airways Assures of Return to Normalcy

Further to Kenya Airways update on service disruption due to shortage of aircraft parts on 9 January 2023, the airline has reassured customers of return to normalcy of its operations.
In a release issued on 16 January, 2023, and signed by Allan Kilavuka, its Group MD and CEO, Kenya Airways said the availability of its aircraft and information dissemination were improving.
"We continue to recover our aircraft on scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as and when we receive the parts. We are in discussions with our suppliers on the delivery timelines for all the components required for the maintenance tasks.
We are proactively updating our customers on flight schedule should there be any disruptions due to unavailability of parts." Kenya Airways said.
It will be recalled that Kenya Airways operations experienced disruptions last week. According to the airline, the disruptions were as a result of depleted capacity due to the unavailability of aircraft spare parts.
