Etihad Airways is celebrating Eid Al Etihad – the UAE’s 53rd National Day – with limited edition amenity kits for guests flying with the airline.
The specially created amenity kits are complimentary for guests on selected flights throughout the month-long celebration. In addition, Etihad’s signature National Day celebratory tote bags will be given to all guests on 2 December.
The bag designs feature elements of the rich heritage of the UAE with iconic imagery from Abu Dhabi’s history and details inspired by Sadu, the traditional Bedouin weaving craft.
In Business, First, and The Residence, Etihad’s distinguished Giorgio Armani amenity kits are presented in limited-edition colours inspired by the UAE. The amenity kits are filled with skincare products from luxury spa and wellness brand ESPA as well as handy travel accessories.
For guests flying in Economy, Etihad has created two limited-edition tote bags that reflect the UAE’s culture and history. The first design features a vintage 1962 photograph of a Bedouin family crossing the Asab Oasis in Liwa, Abu Dhabi, celebrating the expansive Liwa desert and its impressive sand dunes.
The second design draws inspiration from the Emirati Kandura, showcasing the distinctive neckline and stitching unique to the traditional Emirati menswear garment that is still proudly worn today.
The practical tote bags are presented together with a plush blanket and headphones for guests to use inflight and contain complimentary amenities including a Beekman lip balm. It then becomes a useful foldaway bag for guests to reuse after the flight.
On National Day, Etihad will treat guests to signature desserts commemorating the occasion while they fly.

Wow! Stunning! Hilton seems to be taking Africa by storm. Just a couple of years back, they opened the first ever in Eswatini.
Wonderful event and topics discussed, hopefully we see the manifestations in our African airline businesses in the nearest future. Kudos to you all.
