Ethiopian Airlines Resumes Regular Flights to Nigeria

Ethiopian Airlines will resume scheduled passenger service to Nigeria with flights to Abuja from 7 September and Lagos from 8 September 2020.

Flights to Abuja will be operated daily using an Airbus A350-900 while Lagos will be served four times a week using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

Flights can be booked on Ethiopian Airline’s website or via the airline’s mobile app. You can also book your flight at Ethiopian Airlines city office or through your travel agency.

Abuja and Lagos will rejoin Ethiopian Airlines' post COVID-19 global network of over 70 destinations including Dubai, Toronto, Washington DC, Chicago, Newark, London, Paris, and Manchester.

In addition to intercontinental flights, Ethiopian Airlines has also resumed flights to other African destinations including Nairobi, Djibouti, Douala, Yaoundé, and Windhoek from 11 September, 2020

Before suspending flights to Nigeria in March, Ethiopian Airlines operated passenger flights to Lagos, Abuja, Enugu and Kano but will resume flights to only Lagos and Abuja as the other airports remain closed for now.

Customers are kindly informed that wearing of facemasks is mandatory on all Ethiopian Airlines flights. They are also required to satisfy destination entry requirements such as health certificates and filling of health declaration forms if required.
