Ethiopian Airlines Increases Flight Frequency to Ghana

Ethiopian Airlines has announced that it will increase flight frequency to Accra, Ghana. With effect from 26 March, 2023, the East African airline will add four additional flights to Accra, increasing the weekly flights from 7 to 11.


The additional flights will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays using a Boeing 737 MAX 8. The new services will operate alongside Ethiopian Airlines daily service to Accra using an Airbus A350-900.


Accra’s additional flights schedule:


On Mondays and Thursdays, Flight ET927 will depart Addis Ababa at 01:40 and arrive Accra at 04:40. Fight ET926 will depart Accra at 05:20 and arrive Addis Ababa at 14:15. All times are local.


On Tuesdays and Fridays, Flight ET929 will depart Addis Ababa at 17:00 and arrive Accra at 20:00. Flight ET928 will depart Accra at 22:35 and Addis Ababa at 07:30 the next day. All times are local.

Ethiopian Airlines is Africa’s biggest and most profitable airline. With a fleet of more than 120 aircraft, it currently operates passenger and cargo flights to over 130 domestic, regional, and international destinations from its main hub in Addis Ababa.

In other news, Ethiopian Airlines will launch a new passenger service to Atlanta, USA starting from 16 May 2023. It will also resume its direct flights between Abidjan and New York John F. Kennedy Airport with effect from 29 May 2023.
