Emirates Brings Taste of Mid-Autumn Festivities Onboard

For families across Asia, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a cherished time for reunion, togetherness and traditions, marked by gatherings under the full moon and the sharing of mooncakes with loved ones.

As travellers journey home to celebrate with family and friends, Emirates is bringing the spirit of the festival onboard, offering customers a taste of the occasion while travelling between Dubai and Singapore, China, Hong Kong and Malaysia.

On 25 and 26 September 2026, customers travelling on select Emirates flights* will receive a complimentary mooncake as part of their meal service across all cabin classes. The seasonal treat, featuring traditional red bean paste filling, will be served alongside lunch or dinner.

In First and Business Classes, customers will receive a specially packaged mooncake gift box following the first meal service. In Premium Economy and Economy Class, mooncakes will be presented as part of the meal tray service.

Continuing the Mid-Autumn festivities throughout the lunar month, Emirates will welcome travellers to its airport lounges in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai on 6 October 2026, where they can enjoy mooncakes and lava custard black gold glutinous rice balls for a sweet and heart-warming start to their journey.

Alongside the festive culinary offering, customers can also enjoy Emirates' extensive inflight entertainment selection on ice, featuring more than 40 Cantonese and Mandarin films, including recent titles such as I Am What I Am 2, Invincible Swordsman, The Way We Talk and I Want to Be Rich.

Travellers can also access more than 300 Hollywood releases with Chinese subtitles, including How to Train Your Dragon, Elio, Materialists and Audrey's Children.
