Emirates Brings Back Seasonal Strawberry Menu on UK Flights

Following the launch of its bespoke Wimbledon menu, Emirates is celebrating the British summer with the return of its popular seasonal strawberry menu on flights between Dubai and the UK from 13 to 31 July.

Inspired by iconic British summer favourites such as strawberries and cream and Eton Mess, the limited-time menu features a selection of strawberry-inspired desserts across all cabin classes, allowing customers to enjoy the flavours of the season both in the air and on the ground.

Passengers travelling from Dubai to the UK can savour Honey Cake with strawberry compote and clotted cream in First Class, Strawberry Tart with pistachio sauce in Business and Premium Economy, and Cream Cheese Mousse with strawberry compote and hazelnut streusel in Economy Class.

On flights from the UK to Dubai, First Class customers will enjoy a traditional Eton Mess, while Business Class passengers will be served white chocolate cheesecake with strawberry and basil confit.

Premium Economy features strawberry panna cotta, while Economy passengers can indulge in strawberry cheesecake with crumble.

The desserts are prepared using the Monterrey strawberry variety, sourced from Bustanica, the world's largest indoor vertical farm and co-owned by Emirates. More than 10 kilograms of freshly harvested strawberries are supplied daily, with the fruit served on board within 12 hours of being picked.

The Emirates A380 Onboard Lounge will also offer seasonal favourites, including fresh strawberries and cream, strawberry lemon cake, and strawberry-inspired mocktails and cocktails.

The seasonal menu reflects Emirates' commitment to showcasing local cultures and seasonal ingredients through its onboard dining experience. The airline also partners with leading UK strawberry growers, including Blush from UK and Hugh Lowe Farms, to source premium-quality fruit.

Taking British Strawberries Worldwide

Beyond the onboard experience, Emirates SkyCargo continues to connect British strawberry growers with international markets through its global network and specialised cold-chain facilities.

With dedicated freighter services from London Heathrow and London Stansted, alongside passenger flights, the airline has transported more than 230 tonnes of British strawberries to the UAE since March 2026—equivalent to around 12 million strawberries—ensuring the fruit arrives fresh and in peak condition.
