Delta Partners with CVS Health For COVID-19 Testing

Last week, we reported that Delta was on its way to testing nearly 100 percent of its workforce for COVID-19 by the end of the month.

Delta is now partnering with CVS Health to accelerate the employee COVID-19 testing with a rapid-response option for flight crews, a move that will restore travel confidence to both passengers and staff.

The CVS Health Return Ready SM testing will be overseen by a CVS Health clinician at Delta hub crew lounges and takes fewer than 15 minutes to diagnose whether the active COVID-19 virus is detected.

The rapid-response nasal-swab test is the newest testing option Delta is providing employees so a baseline understanding of the infection can be established across Delta.

The extensive employee testing program is adding another layer of protection to the many measures Delta recently launched to keep both employees and customers healthy and safe onboard.

Delta currently has 75,000 staff, about half of which have already been tested for COVID-19.
