Captain Najomo Commissions New NCAA Sickbay in Abuja

The Director-General Civil Aviation (DGCA), Capt. Chris Najomo, on Wednesday, 2nd September 2026, commissioned the newly-established Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority’s (NCAA) staff sickbay at the Authority’s Corporate Headquarters in Abuja.

The commissioning was witnessed by the NCAA management team, including the Director, Air Worthiness Standards, Engr Godwin Balang; Director, Special Duties, Dr (Mrs) Augustina Erah; Director, Legal Services & Company Secretary, Barr. (Mrs) Mary Tufano-Eche; and a host of staff.

Speaking at the event, the DGCA stated that "the establishment of the sick bay is not just a facility, but a demonstration of our deep commitment to the welfare and well-being of the staff. It is expected to provide essential, first aid medical care to NCAA personnel,’’ promising to continue to create an enabling and supportive environment for all.
