Cap Classique & Champagne Festival Makes Grand Return

The Capitec Franschhoek Cap Classique & Champagne Festival — one of South Africa’s most anticipated celebrations of wine and lifestyle — returns to the historic Huguenot Monument on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 November 2025, promising a weekend of sparkling sophistication.

Presented in proud partnership with headline sponsor Capitec for the second consecutive year, the 2025 edition promises a weekend of elegant indulgence, exceptional sparkling wines and gourmet flair — all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Franschhoek Wine Valley.

This year’s theme, “Champagne White With A Pop Of Blue And A Note Of Pinot Noir Red,” invites guests to dress the part, elevating the garden party atmosphere that has become synonymous with this signature event. A fixture on the social calendar, the festival draws a discerning crowd eager to toast the season in one of South Africa’s most celebrated wine destinations.

Attendees can expect a tasting journey featuring the country’s leading Cap Classique producers complemented by a select offering of imported Champagnes. These fine wines will be available for sampling and purchase by the glass or bottle, while a refined range of gourmet food vendors will offer locally inspired cuisine, perfectly paired for bubbly enjoyment.
