Brussels Airlines has launched scheduled passenger flights to Evenes (Norway), Kemi and Kittilä (both Finland). These destinations are added to the winter timetable, as holidays to the arctic in winter are becoming increasingly popular.
In addition to scheduled passenger flights, Brussels Airlines also operates charter flights to the arctic region in cooperation with travel agencies.
Kittilä will be offered three times weekly between December 10 and March 27. Kemi is offered up to twice weekly in the schedule between December 25 and March 10, Evenes is executed once weekly in February and March.
Nordland and Lapland offer untouched natural landscapes and is ideal for observing northern lights during the winter months.
