British Airways has unveiled the new cabins coming to its retrofitted Airbus A380s, marking a major milestone in its extensive cabin refurbishment programme.

The transformed aircraft will feature redesigned interiors, new seats across all cabins and upgrades aimed at delivering greater comfort and a more premium experience. The first completed A380 is expected to enter service in the coming months.

Customers in Club World, World Traveller Plus and World Traveller will benefit from new seats and refreshed interiors, with the airline's distinctive herringbone design incorporated throughout the aircraft.

More comfort in Economy and Premium Economy

World Traveller customers will enjoy larger entertainment screens, wider seats and upgraded bedding, including more supportive pillows and plusher blankets.

In World Traveller Plus, improvements include larger entertainment screens, privacy wings, new bedding and pillows. Passengers will also receive a reusable tote-style amenity kit containing travel essentials and Dr.PAWPAW moisturising balm.

An enhanced Club Suite

The A380's Club World cabin will feature an evolution of British Airways' Club Suite, with a refreshed colour palette, additional storage and improved functionality.

The aircraft will have 106 Club Suite seats across the upper deck, making it the world's largest business class cabin. Four cabin zones will include dedicated dwell areas, Club Kitchens and redesigned galley spaces.

Passengers will also receive new amenity kits in four designs created by British artists through Rise Art, featuring products from British wellness brand anatomē.

A new First Suite

The retrofit introduces British Airways' new First suite, designed to combine privacy and comfort with the feel of a modern luxury hotel.

Centre seats can be transformed into a shared space, while stowable tables allow passengers travelling together to enjoy 'buddy dining'.

A bespoke First amenity kit created with British heritage brand Swaine will be available from 6 October, while new sleepwear and slippers will be introduced from 1 October.

The First experience also includes a luxury mattress, cotton duvet and redesigned pillow to support better sleep at 35,000ft.

Restaurant-style dining in the sky

British Airways is also refreshing its First dining experience across its long-haul fleet from 1 October.

The new 'From the Grill' concept will allow passengers to customise meals from premium proteins, sides and sauces. A new mini bar integrated into the First seat will provide convenient access to drinks and snacks.

The dining service will feature premium Champagne, an expanded beverage selection, contemporary stoneware and fine bone china, with serving pieces and glassware created in collaboration with British designers and specialists.

The airline is also updating its First Service Specialist training programme to provide more personalised and attentive service.

The A380 refurbishment forms part of British Airways' wider investment in its customer experience, including new aircraft, technology, operational improvements and the ongoing transformation of its Heathrow lounges.
