British Airways Set to Resume Scheduled Flights to Japan

If you've been dreaming and waiting to spread your wings to Japan to marvel at the imposing skylines or be mesmerised by its many surprises, it's time for you to pack your bags and get ready to fly on those wings.

After exactly one year of flight suspension, British Airways is set to resume scheduled passenger services between London and Japan. The service will resume on November 13, 2022 and will operate daily between London Heathrow and Tokyo Haneda.

The non-stop service will be operated using a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner offering a total of 214 seats, including 35 seats in 'Club World' (Business class), 25 seats in 'World Traveler Plus' (Premium economy), and 154 seats in the economy cabin.

The resumption of flights to Tokyo follows the relaxation of travel restrictions by the Japanese government following recovery from the effects of the global COVID-19 pandemic. British Airways operated the last passenger flight from London to Tokyo in November 2021.
