British Airways' trade partners and travel retailers will now find it easier to access and sell flight and holiday tickets with the airline's expanded distribution agreement with Travelport.

The distribution agreement between International Airlines Group (IAG) and Travelport was announced today, and will enable modern travel retailing by bringing New Distribution Capability (NDC) content from British Airways and sister airlines Aer Lingus, Iberia, and Vueling to Travelport-connected travel agencies around the world.

By channelling its NDC content through the next-generation Travelport+ platform, British Airways will be able to offer travel retailers a wider range of content, including Additional Price Points.

The new agreement will also provide retailers with an expanded selection of ancillary products, while taking advantage of modern digital retailing tools such as intelligent storefronts to merchandize them effectively.

Travelport and IAG are progressing well on the technical solution for NDC distribution and will continue to add features and functionality ahead of NDC content being rolled out.

Headquartered in London, Travelport is a global technology company that powers travel bookings for hundreds of airlines and thousands of hotels worldwide. It operates in over 180 countries. For more information, visit www.travelport.com

For full details, eligibility and terms and conditions for accessing NDC content through Travelport, travel agencies should contact their airline Account Manager or visit British Airways' NDC Comms Hub at https://ndc.ba.com
