British Airways Launches Flights to Aruba and Guyana

Chidozie Uzoezie

Travellers and holidaymakers travelling to the Caribbean and North America now have more travel options and better connectivity with British Airways. The airline has announced that it will begin flying to Aruba and Guyana from March 2023.

Flights to both Aruba and Guyana will be operated twice weekly from London Gatwick Airport using Boeing 777-200ER aircraft. Travellers will arrive in Guyana via St Lucia, while flights to Aruba will be operated via Antigua.

British Airways has also announced a new three-weekly direct flight to Trinidad from London Gatwick Airport. The service was formerly operated via St Lucia. All new routes are already bookable on the airline’s website.

Currently, British Airways is the only airline offering regular flights to Guyana from the UK. It now joins TUI in flying to Aruba, although TUI’s flights are only available in the high season, which falls over the winter months in the UK.

Scenically located in the mid-south of the Caribbean Sea, Aruba is one of the four countries that form the Kingdom of the Netherland. Aruba is known for its dazzling white beaches, fascinating desert-like landscapes, colorful architecture as well as vibrant art and social lifestyle.

Rich in natural wonders and striking landscapes, Guyana is situated on the northern coast of South America, east of Venezuela and north of Brazil. Among other things, leisure travellers can admire the might of Kaieteur Falls and enjoy sunset from the waters of the Essequibo River at Baganara Lodge.

Wow! Stunning! Hilton seems to be taking Africa by storm. Just a couple of years back, they opened the first ever in Eswatini.

Thank you for sharing such a detailed review about ethiopian airlines in your post. I am an avid traveller and keep reading flight reviews to assess the options available. Your review particularly drew my attention because you have shared so many pictures to capture every aspect of the flight experience. It is a very nice effort.

I am really tempted to book the next ethiopian airlines ticket and relive your journey. The pictures shared with the post also reflect that you truly enjoyed the travel. Great post! I also like the fact that you have covered nuances about the food and entertainment service through the pictures. It helps people know what to expect on their travel by this airline.
