Aviation Africa Summit & Exhibition Opens in Abuja, Nigeria

The Aviation Africa Summit and exhibition, taking place this year for the first time in Abuja, Nigeria - was opened this morning by Permanent Undersecretary for the Ministry of Aviation & Aerospace Development, on behalf of Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation who toured the exhibition later.
This is the first time Aviation Africa is taking place in Nigeria, the organisers, Times Aerospace Events, have worked alongside the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority who are hosting this seventh edition of the Summit & Exhibition which features 1500 attendees from 75 countries with representatives from 35 African nations, at the International Conference Centre in Abuja. The audience includes government ministers, director generals of civil aviation authorities and airline senior executives.
Industry is well supported in the exhibition hall with 100 exhibitors with Gold Sponsors Airbus & Boeing, Registration sponsor Marsh and showcasing many Nigerian aviation companies including Aero MRO, Base Aviation Systems, ETAM Avitat Services and Izy Air.
The exhibition hall will see visitors representing the global aviation industry including OEMs, training companies, supply chain, MRO, business aviation and finance and leasing.
