ASKY Launches New Passenger Service to Nouakchott

ASKY Airlines has announced that it will launch a new passenger service between Lome and Nouakchott, the capital of Mauritania and its largest city. The service will begin on 2 August, 2025.
The new service will operate three times a week between Gnassingbé Eyadéma International Airport, Lomé and Nouakchott–Oumtounsy International Airport using a Boeing 737 aircraft.
Meaning "the place of winds" in the language of the local Berber people, Nouakchott is a hub for Saharan meteorite trade and a popular destination for tourism, offering attractions like Plage de Nouakchott and Banc d'Arguin National Park.
