Ahead of the launch of its new regional services to Bamako, Conakry, Douala and Libreville on 1 August 2026, Air Peace recently hosted a Travel Agency Forum, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening partnerships with the travel trade and expanding connectivity across West and Central Africa.

The forum brought together travel agencies and industry stakeholders to showcase the airline's regional expansion plans, discuss new business opportunities and strengthen collaboration ahead of the launch of the four new routes.

Opening the event, Air Peace Chief Commercial Officer, Mr Nowel Ngala, said the new services would improve regional connectivity, support trade and tourism, and create new opportunities for both passengers and travel partners. He reaffirmed the airline's commitment to working closely with travel agencies to ensure the success of its expanding regional network.

Speaking on behalf of the National President of the National Association of Nigerian Travel Agencies (NANTA), the association's Lagos Zone Vice President, Mr Yinka Olapade, praised Air Peace for its continued investment in regional expansion. He described the new routes as an important step towards stronger regional integration and greater opportunities for the travel industry.

The Senior Vice President for Sabre Travel Solutions in Central and West Africa, Mr Allen Awosikunde, also commended Air Peace on its expansion, noting that the new routes would further strengthen connectivity across the region.

Mrs Funmilayo Ogunsanwo, Manager, Air Commerce at Travelport, said the expanded network would stimulate business growth, improve connectivity and create additional revenue opportunities for travel agencies.

During the forum, Air Peace's Domestic, International and Regional Sales teams presented the airline's expanding network, commercial strategy, route performance and customer offerings. They also highlighted promotional campaigns and sales opportunities designed to help travel agencies maximise revenue while delivering greater value to passengers.

The presentations were followed by an interactive question-and-answer session, giving travel partners the opportunity to engage directly with Air Peace executives on the airline's expansion plans, reservation systems, operational challenges and future growth.

Delivering the Chairman's goodwill message, Ngala thanked travel agencies for their continued support, describing them as key partners in Air Peace's growth.

"You are ambassadors of the Air Peace brand. Every booking you make, every customer you advise and every passenger you entrust to Air Peace contributes directly to our success."

He reaffirmed the airline's commitment to strengthening its partnership with the travel trade as it continues to expand its network and connect more people, businesses and destinations across Nigeria, Africa and beyond.
