A New Way to Tokyo: Delta Flies to Narita From Seattle

Delta is giving customers more ways to reach Japan, one of the world’s most exciting destinations, with the launch of new nonstop service between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and Tokyo-Narita International Airport (NRT) beginning in late March 2027.

The new route complements Delta’s existing nonstop service between Seattle and Tokyo-Haneda (HND), creating two ways to Tokyo for customers traveling from Seattle and throughout Delta’s broader U.S. network.

Delta also currently flies to HND from Atlanta (ATL), Detroit (DTW), Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP), Los Angeles (LAX), and Honolulu (HNL). Together, the two Tokyo airports offer added access and convenience, whether customers are heading into the heart of the city, connecting across the greater Tokyo region or beginning an unforgettable journey across Japan.

The new Seattle–Narita service will operate daily on Delta’s Airbus A330-900neo, offering customers a modern, comfortable onboard experience across the Pacific. The aircraft features Delta’s signature long-haul products, including Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main, with amenities designed to help customers relax, recharge and enjoy the journey.

For business travelers, the new service supports continued demand between the U.S. and Japan; for leisure travelers, it opens even more opportunities to explore Tokyo and destinations across the country.

The new route also complements Delta’s broader network across Asia through its joint venture partnership with Korean Air.

Together, Delta and Korean Air offer customers extensive connectivity throughout the region via Seoul-Incheon, including service to 15 destinations in Japan, such as Osaka and Sapporo. This gives travelers even more options when planning trips across Japan.
