Due to the global coronavirus pandemic, KLM will start the summer schedule with only 57 destinations, reflecting a significantly reduced network.

From 29 March, 2020 until and including 3 May, 2020, KLM plans to fly to only 25 intercontinental and 32 European destinations.

During this period, KLM will fly according to an adjusted schedule, which amounts to about 10 percent of the normal number of flights.

The intercontinental network will be operated with Boeing 777s and Boeing 787s as the Boeing 747s will be taken out of the fleet earlier than planned.

The following destinations will be offered from 29 March to 3 May (subject to changes): Atlanta, Abu Dhabi/Muscat, Bangkok, Curacao, Delhi, Dubai, Sap Paulo, Hong Kong, Seoul, New York, Johannesburg, and Osaka.

Other summer destinations are Los Angeles, Lima, Mexico City, Nairobi, Narita, Chicago, Beijing, Panama City, Shanghai, Singapore, Taipei, Calgary, Toronto, and Nairobi.
