South African Airways Cancels International and Regional Operations

South African Airways (SAA) has, with immediate effect, suspended all international and regional operations until 31 May 2020 in response to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.

International flights include those to Washington DC and New York, JFK, London, Heathrow, Frankfurt and Munich as well as Perth and São Paulo. All of which are now cancelled.

Regional flights include those to Accra, Lusaka, Harare, Victoria Falls, Windhoek, Lagos, Entebbe, Livingstone, Blantyre & Lilongwe, Nairobi, Kinshasa, Dar es Salaam and Maputo.

South African Airways, will however, continue to operate on its domestic routes.

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and attendant travel restrictions, resulted in substantial decline in demand for air travel, causing many airlines across the world to ground aircraft and cancel flights.

Customers are advised to either contact their travel agents, or South African Airways Call Centres on +27 (0)11 978-1111 or 0861 606-606 or 0800 214-774 (South Africa only) or +27 (0)11 978-2888.

Wow! Stunning! Hilton seems to be taking Africa by storm. Just a couple of years back, they opened the first ever in Eswatini.
