The much anticipated Travel Gurls Beach Volleyball Tournament made its debut amidst fun and celebration. The event which held on the 22nd of February, 2020, at West Side Beach Resort, served the intended purpose, as girls won prizes for having fun.
The trio of Gladys Ejoke of Kenya Airways, Deborah Patrick-Akhaba of Tripz and Adventures and Uju Oputa beat two other teams on a set of 2 to 15 points and 4 to 15 points respectively, to cart home the trophy.
The trophies won included a weekend stay in Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort Uyo in Akwa Ibom State. The trophy was courtesy Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort and Vecta Travels.
In the words of Gladys Ejoke who led her team to victory remarked that, "this has been a fun-packed outing for me and I don't mind having this every quarter or month. Actually, every female in the industry needs this."
Speaking after the presentation of prizes to the winners, the organizer of the event and president of African Sports Tourism Week, Deji Ajomale-McWord said the event reminded him of the world he hoped for - a world where a girl can dream and chase her dream unto realization.
“The travel industry is practically a women's world and we might as well acknowledge that and how they represent their clan with power and competence.” Deji Ajomale-McWord said.
According to Deji Ajomale-McWord, the sporting event will move to Accra, Ghana in March, as part of the celebration of the women's month.
Travel Gurls Beach Volleyball Tournament is the premier recreational event created with the intention of celebrating the female clan in the Nigerian travel industry, for the immense value they bring to the table.

Prices in the Sol Torremolinos Don Pablo are the same than two weeks ago.
Good location astounding but the staffs are rude and they make me wait so long for the service. They charge me more than what is on the website and did not refund me the manager is not helping with the issue
