Air France to Launch New Service to Chennai in India
Air France will launch a new long-haul service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Chennai in India with effect from 14 June 2020.
The three-weekly service will be operated by a Boeing 787-9 with a capacity of 279 seats including 30 in Business, 21 in Premium Economy and 228 in Economy class.
Flight AF108 will leave Paris-CDG at 10:10 local time, and arrive in Chennai at 23:30. Flight AF107 will leave Chennai at 01:05 local time and arrive Paris-CDG at 08:00.
During the summer season, flights will operate from Paris-Charles de Gaulle on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and from Chennai on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Tickets will be available as from 2 March 2020 on www.airfrance.com.
Chennai is the fourth gateway of the Air France network in India after Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. For the 2020 summer season, Air France will operate 24 weekly flights to the 4 destinations while KLM will operate 14 weekly flights to Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.
