Virgin Atlantic Returns to Beautiful Cape Town, The Mother City

Winter sun and fun seekers from the UK should get ready to head down to South Africa on Virgin Atlantic is set to resume service between London Heathrow and Cape Town. The daily service will launch on 25 October, 2020 using a Boeing 787-9 aircraft offering a total of 264 seats including 31 in Upper Class cabin, 35 in Premium economy and 198 in Economy class. Flight VS478 will operate as a night flight departing Heathrow at 16:20 arriving into Cape Town at 05:55 whereas the inbound, the VS479, will depart at 08:00 landing later that day at 18:00. The service will complement the airlines existing daily Airbus A350-1000 service between London Heathrow and Johannesburg.

Cape Town is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The Mother city offers a lot of attractions including stunning beaches and the popular Table Mountain. Flights on the new service will be available for booking from 18 February, 2020. Return Economy fares from UK start from £713 per person.
