Due to higher demand, Etihad Airways will increase flight frequencies between its Abu Dhabi hub and Athens, Greek during the busy summer peak months.

The additional overnight service will be operated between 8 July and 31 August by an Airbus A320 configured with 8 seats in Business and 150 seats in Economy.

The extra frequency will complement the existing daily two-class Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner morning daytime service between the two capitals.

Athens is the historical capital of Europe, with a long history, dating from the first settlement in the Neolithic age. The city is popular among leisure travellers.
