Rwanda to Host 2020 Africa Tourism Leadership Forum

Rwanda has won the bid to host the Africa Tourism Leadership Forum (ATLF) 2020 and Awards, scheduled to take place from 13 to 15 July, 2020 in Kigali. The event is being organized by African Tourism Partners and BDO South Africa. The theme for this year’s edition is “Shaping a better future for Intra-Africa travel together”. The intra-African travel game-changing event will take place at the Kigali Convention Centre and is expected to bring together over 500 industry leaders from across the globe. Building on the success of previous ATLF events that were held in Accra, Ghana in 2018 and Durban, South Africa in 2019, this year’s forum will explore ways to transform intra-African travel. This year, the event will focus on thought leadership, travel technology and innovation, transformation of intra-Africa travel, destination marketing, and showcases. Other focus points are MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events)/business events strategies, African aviation routes and airlift, modernization of visa policies, rural tourism development, start-ups, youth in tourism, and tourism investment funding. Outstanding Youth Innovators in travel will be awarded during the event. To stand a chance to win, innovators should submit their projects now on https://www.tourismleadershipforum.africa For more information, please contact info@africatourismpartners.com or +27 (0)81 303 7030.
