ASKY Airlines to Launch Flights to Cape Verde Islands

ASKY Airlines will launch flight services to Cape Verde Islands with effect from 2 March, 2020. The airline announced this on 29 January. The new three-weekly service to the island of Cape Verde will operate between Lome in Togo and Praia n Cape Verde via Dakar in Senegal. The service will be operated using a Boeing 737-800NG offering 154 seats including 16 in Business class and 138 in Economy class. This announcement is coming less than two months after Cabo Verde Airlines launched flights between Sal and Lagos, the economic capital of Nigeria. Praia is the capital as well as the largest city in Cape Verde Islands. Located on the southern coast of Santiago Island, Praia is popular among both business and leisure travellers. From its hub in Lome, ASKY currently flies to 22 destinations in West, Central Africa, and Southern Africa including Lagos and Johannesburg.
