Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza has appointed Gianluca Visani as Executive Chef, and he arrived with a new culinary experience.

The appointment is Visani’s first with Four Seasons Hotels &and Resorts in a long career that has seen him leading expansive culinary operations at international luxury hotels around the world.

Visani arrived at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza in time to oversee the launch of the property’s new Mediterranean dining experience Bullona, a sleek, modern, river-fronted celebration of the distinctive seafood flavours of the region, and a timely addition to the city’s booming nightlife scene.

There are nine dining experiences benefitting from Visani’s craftsmanship at the Hotel. They include the Italian restaurant Bella serving handmade pasta dishes created in an open kitchen as well as fresh Italian loaves pulled hot from a wood-burning oven.

Eight others serve a range of traditional dishes and delicacies; and Zitouni, a 24-hour hotspot for local flavours including Egyptian fattah, mezzah, maa’moul with keshta, and more.

Born in Imola, Italy and raised on a farm in the countryside of Riolo Terme in the province of Ravenna, Visani gained an early appreciation for fresh ingredients and traditional Italian cuisine alongside his grandmother in the family kitchen.
