TAP Commences Flights Between Lisbon and Banjul, The Gambia

TAP Portugal has started flying to Banjul, the capital of The Gambia. The inaugural Lisbon-Banjul flight took place last Saturday, 26 October, 2019.

The three-weekly service between Lisbon and Banjul will be operated using an Airbus A320 aircraft.

Outbound flight departs Lisbon at 8:55 p.m on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and arriving in Banjul at 12:10 a.m the next day. Return flight leaves Banjul at 1:05 a.m on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, landing in Lisbon at 6:05 a.m local time. Flights between Lisbon and Banjul are available from €244 (one way), with all taxes included, or for 23,500 miles (one way) for TAP Miles&Go Clients. The launch of this new route further strengthens TAP’s service to Africa, adding one more country and one more capital to its network of destinations on the African continent. TAP currently flies to 11 destinations in Africa including Marrakesh, Casablanca, Tangier, Fez, Sal, Praia, S. Vicente, Boa Vista, Dakar, Bissau, Abidjan, Accra, S. Tomé, Luanda, Maputo, Guinea, and Banjul.
