Radisson Hotel Group has signed the Radisson Hotel Tunis in Tunisia’s capital city. It will be the first Radisson branded hotel in the city of Tunis and the Group’s fourth hotel in the country.

This brings Radisson Hotel Group’s African portfolio to almost 100 hotels in operation and under development.

The new-build hotel will feature 117 rooms, comprising of standard rooms and suites. Guests will enjoy a variety of cuisines and refreshing beverages at the hotel’s restaurant, bar and rooftop lounge.

The meetings and events facilities will consist of five meeting rooms and a conference space of 358sqm. To unwind, guests will have access to a fitness room, wellness spa and a panoramic swimming pool leading on to an expansive terrace.

For leisure guests, Tunis’s old town, the Medina, is a nearby major attraction containing more than 700 monuments, palaces, mausoleums and the Great Mosque. Located just 5km from the hotel, the Carthage Ancient Ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage site, will allow visitors to discover the country’s rich history.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy a walk on Tunis’ port La Goulette (just 5km away) and the popular picturesque surrounding towns, La Marsa and Gammarth.

The hotel will be within walking distance of the city’s newest business districts and industrial areas, such as the new urban business district of Tunis, Les Berges du Lac; the biggest international exhibition center, El Kram Exhibition and International Trade Center. Guests will find the hotel easy to access, just 11km from the airport.
