Kenya Airways and Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate have expanded their existing codeshare cooperation increasing the destinations available to their guests.

The codeshare expansion effective today, October 1, 2019, will allow seamless connectivity to Oman Air guests traveling beyond Nairobi to Entebbe in Uganda and Johannesburg, South Africa.

Similarly, Kenya Airways guests can now extend their travel beyond Muscat (Oman) to Karachi (Pakistan) and Lahore (Pakistan).

Oman Air (WY) and Kenya Airways (KQ) commenced their codeshare agreement covering services between Muscat and Nairobi in August 2017.

Through the partnership, Kenya Airways extends its services to tourists as well as to those who are visiting friends and families, in Oman - through the cultural links that Oman shares with the coastal parts of East Africa - especially Kenya and Tanzania.

Kenya Airways is currently working towards financial turnaround with a focus on prudential financial management, network expansion as well as improving customer experience.

The partnership provides an additional opportunity for revenue enhancement through providing more selections for guests.
