Ethiopian Airlines Set to Launch Flights to Houston, Texas

Ethiopian Airlines is set to launch flights between Addis Ababa and Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas with effect from 15 December, 2019.

The new service will operated three times per week via Lomé–Tokoin Airport in Lomé, the capital of Togo in West Africa using a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.

In addition to facilitating travel for those in the oil and gas industry and other companies, the new route will serve the large African community in the Houston area, which is home to the largest Nigerian community in the U.S.

Houston is the fourth most populous city in the United States and a City where NASA's control center is located.
