PaxEx: Ethiopian Airlines Rolls Out Onboard WiFi Connectivity


Passengers travelling with Ethiopian Airlines are in for some great time onboard as the airline has began rolling out WiFi on board its aircraft deployed on long-haul routes.

Customers will be able to surf the internet and stay connected on the go with seamless reliable onboard WiFi introduced on the airline's Airbus A350 fleet using Kaband which is the latest broadband satellite technology.

With the state-of-the-art broadband satellite technology, passengers can rest assured that they will enjoy reliable connectivity for sending emails, shopping online or even chatting on social media while flying over the clouds.

The onboard WiFi internet offering passengers seamless digital experience, is part of Ethiopian Airline's efforts to further add to passengers’ comfort keeping pace with the technology of the day.

To access the inflight WiFi service, passengers can purchase vouchers at Ethiopian Airlines sales outlets including Addis Ababa International Airport customer service desk, boarding gate and from cabin crews onboard the fights.

Online sales through credit/debit card and ShebaMiles miles are also additional options for passengers to enjoy the service. The inflight WiFi can be accessed with smart phones, tablets and laptops.

The inflight WiFi internet is initially launched on the Airbus A350 fleet with further plans to expand the service on other airplanes deployed on long haul flights.
