You probably haven't heard about them, but Cabo Verde Airlines is set to launch flights between Sal, Cape Verde and Lagos, Nigeria, with effect from December 9.

The five weekly service will be operated on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays using a Boeing 757-200 with 161 Economy class seats and 22 Business class seats.

The inaugural flight will operate on 9 December, departing from Amílcar Cabral International Airport Sal at 20:50 local time and arriving at Murtala Muhammed Airport Lagos at 02:10 local time.

Passengers from Lagos can connect to Lisbon, Washington DC and Boston, as well as to the airline’s destinations in Brazil – Salvador, Porto Alegre, Recife and Fortaleza via Sal Island.
