Ethiopian Airlines has concluded plans to launch flight service to Garowe, Somalia, via Bossaso, Somalia effective 15 July 2019.

The three-weekly service to Garowe will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays using a Bombardier DH8 Q400 aircraft.

As with Ethiopian's flight to Mogadishu, Somalia, the new service will significantly strengthen the long-standing people-to-people, economic and political ties between the two countries.

The Garowe service will also enable Somalians in diaspora to travel to their homeland via Addis Ababa as well as get connected to the world through Ethiopian's global network of over 120 destinations.

Ethiopian Airlines launched its debut flight to Somalia, Mogadishu four decades ago.
