Turkish Airlines has commenced direct flights between Istanbul and Port Harcourt, Rivers State in the South-South region of Nigeria. The inaugural flight was operated on 24 June, 2019.

With the new direct service, passengers from Port Harcourt can now experience the airline’s on board hospitality four times a week aboard the Boeing 737-900ER.

Turkish Airlines flies to more destinations than any other airline in the world. It has the highest presence of any international airline in Africa where it currently flies to 55 destinations.

Port Harcourt is Turkish Airlines’ third destination in Nigeria after Lagos and Abuja. The expansion to Port Harcourt entrenches Turkish Airlines’ position in the Nigeria aviation industry.

Known to take hospitality to the skies, Turkish Airlines’ reputation for comfort, layover and friendly price-point has offered travellers exciting destinations around the world.
