Qatar Airways Commences Flights Between Doha and Rabat


Qatar Airways has commenced flights between Doha and Rabat, Morocco. The inaugural flight to Rabat landed on Wednesday at Rabat–Salé Airport, marking its third destination in Morocco.

Present on board the inaugural flight to Rabat was Qatar Airways Senior Vice President Middle East, Africa and Pakistan, Mr. Ehab Amin and other VIP dignitaries.

Services to Rabat will be served three times a week by a Boeing 787-8 aircraft, featuring 22 seats in Business Class and 232 seats in Economy Class.

Visitors to Rabat can enjoy a wide variety of activities, including shopping for textiles, jewellery and crafts. Tourists can also visit the Andalusian Gardens, where they can wander and admire the many traditional Andalusian flowers and shrubs, including orange, lemon and banana trees.

In addition to Rabat, Qatar Airways also operates daily flights to Casablanca. Its partner Royal Air Maroc, provides five weekly flights from Casablanca to Doha. Services to Rabat are operated three times weekly via Marrakech.

With a modern fleet of more than 250 aircraft, Qatar Airways currently operates via its hub, Hamad International Airport (HIA) to more than 160 destinations worldwide.
