TAP Portugal Launches Flights to Banjul, The Gambia


TAP Portugal airline is expanding its network in Africa with a new service to Banjul, the capital of The Gambia with effect from 26 October, 2019.

The new direct service between Lisbon and Humberto Delgado Airport in Banjul, will be operated three times a week using an Airbus A320 aircraft.

Outbound flights will leave Lisbon at 20:55 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and arriving in Banjul at 00:10 the next day. Return flights will leave Banjul at 01:05 (on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays), arriving Banjul at 06:05 (all times local). The launch of this new route further strengthens TAP’s service to Africa, adding one more country and one more capital to its network of destinations on the continent of Africa. Currently, TAP flies to 16 destinations in Africa including Marrakesh, Casablanca, Tangier and Fez, Cape Verde, Senegal, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Togo, Ghana, S. Tomé and Príncipe, Angola and Mozambique.
