Radisson Expands in Africa with Three Hotels in Madagascar

Radisson Hotel Group is expanding its market share in Africa and Indian Ocean with the signing of a portfolio deal of three hotels and a total of 254 rooms in Madagascar.
The three hotels are Radisson Blu Hotel, Antananarivo Waterfront, Radisson Hotel Antananarivo Waterfront and Radisson Serviced Apartments Antananarivo City Center in Madagascar. They are scheduled to open in 2020.
Radisson Blu Hotel, Antananarivo Waterfront in Madagascar will feature 168 rooms consisting of 121 standard rooms, 26 junior suites and 21 executive suites.
Other features are an all-day dining restaurant, a rooftop destination restaurant, rooftop bar as well as an internet café, a fitness room and an indoor swimming pool, and six meeting rooms.
Radisson Hotel Antananarivo Waterfront will have 30 upscale rooms made up of standard and business class rooms. Amenities include an all-day dining restaurant and bar as well as water garden, deck and outdoor swimming pool.
Radisson Serviced Apartments Antananarivo City Center has 56 apartments, which include 38 upscale standard apartments, 11 business class apartments and seven executive suites. It will offer an all-day dining restaurant, a lively roof top lounge bar and a gym.
Antananarivo is the capital city of Madagascar and is a hub in Francophone Africa. The portfolio of hotels will spearhead the upper upscale and upscale hotel markets in the city.
