Virgin Atlantic will soon raise the bar and offer second-to-none onboard broadband for customers with the deployment of GX Aviation inflight broadband on its brand-new Airbus A350-1000.

The news is coming two weeks after the airline revealed the new swanky and innovative interiors for the new A350-1000, which will be equipped with GX Aviation upon delivery.

The connectivity service will be available from late summer 2019, allowing passengers to browse the internet, check social media, instant message and more, with speeds comparable to mobile broadband on the ground.

Virgin Atlantic is firmly established as one of the aviation industry’s greatest innovators and was the first airline in Europe to offer Wi-Fi on all flights.

The airline is scheduled to receive a total of 12 Airbus A350-1000s over the next three years with the first one coming in summer 2019.
