RwandAir will launch direct flights between Kigali and Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) effective 17 April, 2019.

The three-weekly service will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays using a Boeing 737-800NG with 15 business class seats and 136 economy class seats.

Tickets are now available for sale through our website, sales offices, and travel agencies. Passengers from Kinshasa will be able to connect to East Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

Kinshasa is the third-largest urban area in Africa after Lagos and Cairo, it hosts the country’s major industrial and commercial companies.

Top tourist attractions include Lola ya Bonobo, the world’s only sanctuary for orphaned bonobos, the National Museum of Kinshasa, Académie des Beaux-Arts, and many more.

The country is also known for its rich music history and the Congolese rumba is one of the most popular music genres.

With a fleet of 12 aircraft, RwandAir currently flies to 26 destinations in Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. Kinshasa will be its 23rd destination in RwandAir in Africa and 27th globally.
