Air Italy’s first non-stop flight to Los Angeles took off today from Milan Malpensa at 1.00 pm, adding a third direct service to North America following last year’s launch of Milan-New York JFK and Milan-Miami.

The Los Angeles flight is operated four times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays using a new Airbus A330-200 offering 24 seats in Business and 228 in Economy class.

Air Italy’s next US service will be the four-weekly service between Milan and San Francisco, which will commence on 10 April with flights on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Tuesdays.

All international flights to and from Milan Malpensa can connect with Air Italy's domestic flights including Rome, Naples, Palermo, Catania, Lamezia Terme, Cagliari and Olbia.
