British Airways has unveiled its highly-anticipated new business class seat - 'Club Suite' - and confirmed it will arrive on the first of its Airbus A350 aircraft in July.

The airline's sophisticated and newly-branded 'Club Suite' offers direct-aisle access, a suite door for greater privacy and luxurious flat-bed seats in a 1-2-1 configuration.

With 40% more storage, vanity unit and mirror, WiFi, 18.5-inch inflight entertainment screens, high definition gate-to-gate programming, and PC/USB power; every aspect of the Club Suite has been designed for today's customer.

The three-class A350 has a total of 331 seats including 56 seats in Club World cabin, 56 seats in the the World Traveller Plus cabin and 219 seats in the World Traveller (economy) cabin.

The new cabin also features with new furnishings including a plush new pillow and warm quilt, new amenity kits and an enhanced service and an improved dining experience.

The first A350 aircraft will start some short-haul flying between London and Madrid to allow the crew familiarize with the aircraft and the new customer service delivery.

From 1 October, 2019, the A350 will begin long-haul flights during which another 3 A350s will join the British Airways fleet while two Boeing 777s will also be retrofitted with the new cabin.
