Following the Tragic accident of ET 302 on 10 March, 2019 involving one of its Boeing 737 MAX 8, Ethiopian Airlines has grounded all Boeing 737 MAX 8 fleet effective yesterday March 10, 2019 until further notice.

The airline in a statement said "Although we don’t yet know the cause of the accident, we had to decide to ground the particular fleet as extra safety precaution."

Ethiopian Airlines Flight ET302 operated by a new Boeing 737 MAX 8 crashed yesterday en route Nairobi from Addis Ababa killing all 157 people on board.
