Summersalt at Jumeirah Al Naseem Gets New Dining Menus

Dubai’s best beach and pool experiences, Summersalt at Jumeirah Al Naseem has launched a new Japanese fusion pop-up concept, created by new Chef Cristian Goya.

Open for lunch and dinner, Umi Shio fuses the artful craft of Japanese cooking, with the delicious flavours of South America , alongside a selection of new Japanese-inspired cocktails, mocktails and varieties of Sake, all served on the shores of Madinat Jumeirah’s private beach.

Designed to encourage sharing, the new menu is split between appetisers, crudo, soups, tempura, seafood and meat, created using authentic Japanese and South American ingredients such as Miso, Yuzu, Truffle and lime in abundance.

The dishes include Roasted Langoustines in a Sweet and Sour sauce and Miso Caramelized Eggplant to start, followed by five types of Crudo from Classic Seabass Ceviche, Truffle Seafood Ceviche, Seabass Sashimi, Yellowtail Sashimi and Salmon Tataki.

Main dishes include Saikyo Miso Black Cod and White Rice, Grilled Octopus, Potato Salad and Salsa Criolla or Miso Marinated Seabass for fish and seafood, and Anticucho (famed meat dishes from Peru).

Other mains are Lamb Chops, Corn-Fed Chicken Breast with Teriyaki Truffle Sauce or Wagyu Beef Tataki, for meat eaters. Desserts include a selection of Mochi, Cheesecake Brûlée served with Mandarin Sorbet or Espresso Glace.

Nestled in a beach-front retreat, Summersalt is a hidden oasis and the perfect place to spend a secluded evening. The restaurant can cater for up to 90 diners both inside and outside.

With a separate Shisha lounge, guests can enjoy the best views of the Burj Al Arab with a chilled outdoor experience, relaxing and feasting on delicious flavourful dishes, whilst serenaded by eclectic music and the sounds of the Arabian sea.
