Network Expansion: RwandAir to Launch Flights to Addis Ababa

Rwanda's national carrier, RwandAir, will commence scheduled flights between Kigali and Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia with effect from April 2019.
Although the exact commencement date is yet to be announced, the airline will operate five weekly direct flights from Kigali to Addis Ababa with a Bombardier CRJ-900 aircraft.
With the new direct flights to Addis Ababa, RwandAir expects to offer better flight connections within East, West, and Southern Africa.
RwandAir is in the middle of network expansion and plans to launch long-haul flights to China and New York in the United States of America.
With a fleet of 12 aircraft, RwandAir currently flies to 25 domestic and international destinations including Brussels, London, Mumbai, Abuja, Lagos, Mombasa, Lusaka, and Johannesburg.
