Four Seasons Serengeti Gears Up For Christmas and New Year

For a festive vacation like no other, Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti, Tanzania has lined up activities for this Christmas and New Year holidays, all serving as the perfect complement to days out on safari in the Serengeti National Park.

From guided walking safaris to family cooking classes, gingerbread house making and wildlife treasure hunts for little ones, while adults rejuvenate through guided yoga sessions, the Safari Lodge has something to suit all ages.

While limited availability remains for Christmas and New Year, safari goers still have the chance to join in the fun with a pre-Christmas stay or post-New Year extension.

With both half day and full day game drives available, expert Four Seasons driver guides are on hand to spot as many of the "Big Five" as possible.

Upon return to Four Seasons, an international culinary showcase awaits, with menus and theme nights encompassing cuisines from local Tanzanian to Asian, French, Middle Eastern and European at the Lodge’s three restaurants.

Local artist Dullah Wise and photographer Ashrak Mussa from Zanzibar, will be joining in the holiday spirit and will be found at the Lodge over the festive period to showcase their skills.

Private photography safaris will be available with Ashrak Mussa, while guests will have chance to purchase a unique piece of Tanzanian art from Dullah Wise’s collection, as well as seeing his creations come to life stroke by stroke at the Lodge.

For children, movie nights, animal face painting and a string of activities at the Kijana Klub will provide no end to the entertainment, while adults can enjoy a South Africa wine tasting evening with the Lodge’s sommelier or relax with a signature ritual at the Serengeti Kani Spa.
